The Voice star and her fiance Matt Rutler have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, this weekend, it has been reported.
Christina, 33, reported gave birth to her second child via a C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to Us Weekly.
Earlier this year, Us Weekly revealed that Christina and her beau Matt were expecting a little sister for Christina’s six-year-old son Max, just a month after they got engaged in January.
In July, Christina attended her baby shower, where Matt was also present.
“It was very romantic with candles everywhere,” a source told the magazine. "Christina looked so happy and excited."
Guests were treated to pink champagne to honour the arrival of the little girl, as well as a slice of a graphic cake, which featured a woman in the image of Christina giving birth.
It looks as though Christina was working up to the minute she was set to give birth as she posted a photo of herself in the studio, along with the caption: “Baby girl getting first listen to what mama's been creating in the studio.”
The Voice mentor also posed nude for the August edition of V magazine admitting that she was “proud” of her body.
"As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store," she told the magazine.
