Vincent Enyeama listed among 10 being considered for best goalkeeper in the world for 2013/14 season Goal 50 announcement

As we build up to next Monday's big Goal 50 announcement, see below those being considered for best goalkeeper of the past 12 months.

The World Cup was a great tournament for goalkeepers - Argentina's Sergio Romero and Mexico's Guillermo Ochoa are two of the lesser-known shot-stoppers who put themselves in the transfer shopping window this summer.

Costa Rica's Keylor Navas was already firmly on Real Madrid's radar after a brilliant campaign with Levante, while Ajax bagged yet another Eredivisie title with Netherlands' Jasper Cillessen providing the protection in goal.

Manuel Neuer won the Golden Glove as Germany triumphed in Brazil, but his heroics between the sticks for Bayern Munich should not be forgotten as they destroyed everyone in their Bundesliga path.

Thibaut Courtois continued his development into one of the best on the planet with a stellar season at Atletico Madrid, while Nigeria and Lille star Vincent Enyeama impressed constantly in 2013-14.

They might be old heads, but Petr Cech and Gianluigi Buffon proved with Chelsea and Juventus respectively that age hasn't harmed their talent for keeping strikers at bay, while Diego Lopez kept quiet his doubters by being excellently solid for Real Madrid.
