Vagina selfie artist arrested for making her privates available for 3D printing download

A Japanese artist has been arrested after she took a selfie of her vagina.

Megumi Igarashi's images were suitable for 3D printers and she sent the information to 30 people who offered to help pay for one of her creations - a kayak called "pussy boat" and shaped like her vagina.

She is alleged to have breached obscenity laws and police sources said that she had received nearly £6,000 for the images.

However, Igarashi, whose pseudonym Rokudenashiko means 'good for nothing girl' said that she did not believe the 3D data was obscene and she had not sent the pictures in return for money.

On her blog she writes: "I make art pieces with my vagina, which I would rather call Manko(MK).

"I thought it was just funny to decorate my vagina and make into a diorama, but I was very surprised to see how upset people get when they see my works or even hear me say the word Manko.

"Even when a TV station asked me to be on their show, they wouldn’t dare let me say DECO-MAN because 'MAN' is from the taboo word 'Manko'. Why did I start making these kind of art pieces? It’s because I had never seen the vagina of others and I was too self-conscious of mine.

"I did not know what a vagina should look like at the same time, so I thought mine was abnormal.

"Manko and vagina, have been such a taboo in Japanese society. Penis, on the other hand, has been used in illustrations and has become a part of pop culture.

"But vagina has never been so cute. Vagina has been thought to be obscene because its been overly hidden; although it is just a part of a woman’s body."

Chelsea to offload £4.8m Mikel to Serie A

It’s reported Chelsea are offering John Obi Mikel to Serie A clubs for just €6m (£4.8m).

The Nigerian international midfielder has a contract with the Blues until June 2017, but is struggling for playing time.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea representatives are desperately trying to offload Mikel to an Italian club this summer.

Considering the lack of interest in the 27-year-old, they have lowered their asking price to just €6m – around £4.8m.

However, there are still no apparent takers for the man who has been at Stamford Bridge since 2006.

David and his three boys were at the Maracana to take in the World Cup final on Sunday night. It was also, importantly, the first World Cup that David and his three boys had watched together.

There was no doubting which side they were supporting clearly. Their choice of attire may not have gone down too well, however, with Pele and Kaka, with whom Beckham posed for photographs prior to kick-off.

Rihanna WINS by taking the most World Cup celebrity selfies EVER

Jamie Oliver and Rihanna

The World Cup has been and gone but we'll always have Rihanna's selfies to gaze upon and remember.

Well, at least what the Barbadian beaut was up to, anyway, because we were more likely to be doing something a lot less glamourous than Ms Fenty at the time. Like having a bout of extreme hanger during the final on Sunday and, cough, missing the only goal because we were at the corner shop, for shame (it went on SO late, though, right?)

Rihanna

One man who definitely knows about shoving grub down his neck during the football is Jamie Oliver - and apparently Rihanna hung out with him at the final. It's a bit WTF, but very very true judging by this selfie that he posted up on Instagram.

Yes, Joliver and RiRi are officially new mates (look at that tight hug!) or were Rio drinking buddies for a few minutes, anyway. We'd give anything to find out how that conversation went down but we reckon RiRi DEFINITELY had a strong opinion on Turkey Twizzlers. We doubt she's a fan.

Rihanna

When Rihanna wasn't cuddling The Naked Chef she also did a lot of partying in Brazil - and also got close to the German team. Well, we would have too.

Rihanna was snapped puckering up around the likes of Mario Gotze, Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger. Look at their ickle faces - they're loving it. Fancy covering the lawn bowls bit of the Commonwealth Games next, Rihanna? You definitely make sport more fun. Go on, do it.

We've put together a lovely gallery of Rihanna's greatest World Cup selfies for you, anyway. Have a browse and try not to shed a tear that it's sadly all over.

Girls on tour: The three pop stars arrived in Blackpool on one of the town's heritage trams

They are famed for their jetset lifestyles and global tours, but three of the biggest names in pop are in Blackpool for the summer.

Travelling on a heritage tram, pop princesses Adele, Katy Perry and Rihanna were given the red carpet treatment as they arrived in the Lancashire seaside town.

The singers - or at least their waxwork versions - will be the stars of Madame Tussauds in Blackpool for the school holidays, providing the ultimate opportunity for that celebrity selfie.

Rolling out the red carpet: Even the sun shone to welcome the stars - but organisers had to be careful they didn't melt!

Boasting seven BRIT Awards and 17 Grammy Awards between them, the three global superstars are amongst the most successful musicians of all time.

And while the Adele wax figure keeps it classy in eveningwear, her fellow stars opt for more playful outfits.

Adele's dress is a recreation of the black lace Clements Ribeiro frock she wore to the 2012 Grammy Awards.

Rihanna is dressed in a colourful ensemble inspired by her 2010 music video for Who’s That Chick' and Katy Perry styles a quirky sequinned dress decorated with lollipops, a dress worn during her 2011 world tour.

Chris Brown and Drake Spotted in The Studio. Have They Settled Their Differences?

Photo: Instagram

Have former enemies Chris Brown and Drake put their differences behind them?

The hip-hop stars have sparked speculation about a possible collaboration after the Drake fan site Word on Road posted a photo of the singers in the studio together. In the picture, which went online Friday, Brown appears to be singing as Drake listens.

Drake declined to discuss the meeting when questioned during a media call Friday to promote his upcoming hosting gig for the 2014 ESPYs. "I'd rather not comment on it," he said.

In June 2012, Brown and Drake and their entourages were involved in a brawl at New York's club W.i.P, reportedly due to a beef over Rihanna, who has dated both Brown and Drake. San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker was among the injured. A neighboring nightclub launched a $16 million suit against both parties, but in July 2013, a New York judge ruled in the favor of the pop stars.

Video star: Kim Kardashian reportedly stands to make $200million from her hit video game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood

Kim Kardashian has scored a hit with her new video game that could bring her annual revenue reaching $200 million, it has been reported.

The 33-year-old reality star has proven to be a virtual reality magnet as her free game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood ranked number three on Monday on the iTunes charts.

Kim released the video game on June 25 ranking as high as second in the most-downloaded free apps category, and Bloomberg suggest that it could be the star's most lucrative venture yet.

Popular game: Kim, shown earlier this month in Paris, also has clothing, jewelry and cosmetics lines

'This project has been an amazing experience. I'm so excited that people are enjoying the game!' Kim told E! News in an article on Monday.

'I partnered last year with a fantastic company called Glu Mobile to create what is now the No. 3 Free and No. 5 Grossing game on the Apple App Store. We collaborated on every aspect of the game's design details and continue to do so with the updates we are bringing out,' she added.

The game has been popular while also achieving a five-star rating from players.

'Beautiful and big!' The objective of the game - which launches on the App Store and Google Play next week - is to 'create your own aspiring celebrity and rise to fame and fortune'

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood could reach $200 million in annual revenue, said Cowen & Company analyst Douglas Creutz in a recent Bloomberg article.

'Obviously, Kim Kardashian's brand has driven people to download the game. But at this point, the game has taken on a life of its own,' said Creutz.

Shares of San Francisco-based game creator Glu Mobile have risen 42 percent since the game's release.

The free game allows players to buy digital accessories for real money with $5,000 in virtual money costing $4.99 in US dollars. A pair of high heels cost about $4,000 in the game.

'Excited about this new project!' In the game, the 33-year-old reality star used her Razzie Award-winning talents to deliver flat line readings like: 'I love your style,' 'I love that on you,' and 'I'm so excited'

‘Chief butcher’ for Boko Haram arrested in Balmo Forest

Police detectives attached to Bauchi State Police Command have arrested one Mohammed Zakari, a top operative of the dreaded Boko Haram sect in Balmo Forest.

Zakari, 30, who identified himself as the “chief butcher” of Boko Haram, was apprehended last Saturday along Darazo-Basrika Road while fleeing from the intensive counter-insurgency operations going on around the Forest.

The suspect, who hails from Kaigamari Village, Daptchari in Darazo Local Government Area, Bauchi State, is the self-styled “chief butcher” of the insurgent group at the Balmo camp and was said to be linked with the recent slaughter of seven people, including women and children in the area.

A statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, in Abuja on Tuesday, said that findings as well as disclosures from the suspect will assist law enforcement agencies in tracking down some other members of the terror cell.

It explained that the terror suspect was discovered to have actively participated in the April attack on Customs officers at Kari Town, along Maiduguri Road, Bauchi State.

The Police stated that investigation revealed that he was trained in the art of insurgency at Gombe Forest under the leadership of a fleeing insurgent, one Abba Taura, adding that he moved to Balmo Forest only three months ago.

The Police High Command called on the citizens in the affected areas to be on guard for any suspicious or strange character fleeing from the Forest.

Women bishops in Church of England could be appointed by end of the year

The first women bishops in the Church of England could be appointed by the end of year after a historic vote. The Church’s governing body overwhelmingly backed the creation of women bishops, ending years of debate and division.

Two years ago the lay members of the General Synod had blocked the move by just six votes despite its support among bishops and clergy. But at a meeting in York, all three sections of the Church voted in favour.

The bishops supported the proposal by 37 to two with one abstention, the clergy voted 162 clergy to 25 against with four abstentions and the laity backed the motion by 152 to 45 with five abstentions.
The result ends decades of debate within the Church and comes more than 20 years after women were allowed to become priests.

Politicians rushed to praise the Church, with Deputy PM Nick Clegg saying it was a “watershed” moment.
Mr Clegg singled out the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, for changing opinions within the Church.

He said: “This is a watershed moment for the Church of England and a huge step forward in making our society fairer.

"I would like to congratulate the strong leadership that Archbishop Welby has shown on this issue.
“Allowing women to become bishops is another long overdue step towards gender equality in senior positions.

"I welcome the Church of England’s decision which means that women can now play a full and equal role in the important work of the Church.”

David Cameron tweeted: “I warmly welcome today’s vote formally approving women bishops – a great day for the Church and for equality.”

Ed Miliband added: “Wonderful news from York where the Church of England has just voted to allow women bishops for the first time.”
In spite of an appeal from the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, for the result to be heard in silence there was some clapping and shouts of “brill” from within the hall when the outcome was announced.

The Most Rev Justin Welby, who had staked his authority on the issue, said he hoped the first women bishops could be ordained by the end of the year.

The REAL Mariah Carey revealed: See what the singer looked like without photoshop!!!

Retouch My Body: Terry Richardson Pix of Mariah Carey Before Photoshop

She is one of Tinseltown's most impeccably groomed stars, with a hair and make-up team at her beck-and-call.
But it seems even Mariah Carey isn't quite up to snuff, at least when it comes to society's rigid standards of beauty.
Jezebel has published before and after photoshopped pictures of the 44-year-old from a Wonderland magazine shoot shot by Terry Richardon.

Retouch My Body: Terry Richardson Pix of Mariah Carey Before Photoshop

In the photoshopped images, Mariah's appearance is altered to make her appear slimmer and more tanned.
One before shot shows her posing in a fitted black frock with a slit to the hip.
But the image was heavily retouched, and changes included trimming her waistline, bronzing her skin, toning her leg and removing the creases on her neck, as pointed out in a GIF created by Jezebel.

In another picture, Mariah wears leather gloves while sucking on a diamond necklace.
In the after version, her wrists are inexplicably thinned, as pointed out by Jezebel, and her stomach is smoothed out.
And in a picture where she poses with her twins Moroccan and Monroe, her breasts are enlarged and her hair is given more volume.

Good enough as is: Mariah showed off her slender frame as she posed in France late last month

The pictures have sparked controversy for perpetuating unrealistic standards of beauty.
Jezebel also criticises Richardson's signature shooting style for necessitating the retouching.
The website says his point-and-shoot style and harsh flash isn't suitable for a high fashion shoot.

Luis Suarez arrives in Barcelona to complete £75m switch from Liverpool

Luis Suarez has arrived in Barcelona in order to undergo his medical and complete his £75m switch from Liverpool to Barcelona.

But despite appearing in press material released by Barcelona ahead of signing, Suarez WON'T be able to be publicly unveiled by the club until after his four-month biting ban.

FIFA have deemed that such an event would define a "football activity" - from which Luis Suarez is banned after biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's World Cup clash against Italy.

Luis Suarez arrives at his Barcelona home tonight ahead of his medical for his new signing for Barcelona

But Suarez will not be withheld from undergoing a medical at Barcelona, and sealing the formalities of his move, which is thought to be for a fee of around £75m.

The fee will make him the most expensive signing in the Catalan club's history, though he will see his wages slashed if he bites another player.

As revealed by the Sunday People, the 27-year-old striker could see his £10-million-a-year pay packet slashed by £3m if he bites for a fourth time.

If he manages to keep a clean record, he will be the fourth highest-paid player at Barcelona.

Okonjo-Iweala, others summoned over doctors’ strike

The House of Representatives on Monday summoned the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim; and the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, over the ongoing strike by public sector medical doctors in the country.

Also summoned was the Head of Service of the Federation, Alhaji Bukar Goni, and Director-General, Budget Office of the Federation, Dr. Bright Okogu.

The House Committee on Health summoned the officials to appear before it unfailingly on Thursday after they failed to honour a similar invitation to a stakeholders’ meeting on the strike on Monday (yesterday).

The committee, which is chaired by Mr. Ndudi Elumelu, had said that the presence of the key government officials was important in the efforts by the House to resolve the crisis.

Elumelu noted that some of the doctors’ demands had financial implications, which could not be addressed without hearing the position of the government, particularly from Okonjo-Iweala.

According to records before the committee, government is expected to pay an estimated N6.7bn in accumulated entitlements to the striking doctors in the interim.

However, the Nigerian Medical Association made it clear to the committee that the real bone of contention was not money but the decision of the Federal Government to throw open the headship of hospitals to those it described as non-medical doctors.

The NMA couched the contentious dispute over the management of hospitals under the name of “relativity and skipping.”
