Real Madrid Want Chelsea Attacker Eden Hazard: Blues Will Demand World Record Fee
The 23 year old Belgian had been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish giants before he opted to make the move from Lille to west London and is now seemingly once again a Bernabeu target.
There has been a great deal of speculation as to Gareth Bale’s long term future in the Spanish capital, with the Welshman ably replaced by Isco during his recent injury lay-off. Talk of an exit does however seem without a great deal of basis, not least as the former Tottenham man has been a hugely consistent performer since making his world record move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
Bale netted 22 goals in all competitions last term, as well as bagging a mountain of assists, and netted in both the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals.
Hazard proved to be Jose Mourinho’s most effective attacking weapon last season, finishing as the club’s leading assist maker and top-scorer, though the arrival of Diego Costa has certainly helped to improve matters for Chelsea in the final third.
This source claims it would take a world record fee to convince Chelsea to sell Hazard and such a move seems all the more unlikely given Jose Mourinho’s relationship with his former club.
