Watch shocking and hilarious moment man tries out electric chair at fairground

This hilarious video comes with more than its fair share of shocks  - literally. Titled "shocker chair", the clip shows Eddie Tyrer, thought to be from the north east of England, being given a series of shocks as he tries out a fairground's electric chair.

It begins with Eddie parking himself on the attraction, called "The Original Shocker Electric Chair", and telling the film-maker, "I've been on one of these before."

After popping his money in the machine's slot, the bespectacled thrill-seeker then appears to set the voltage to the maximum level, shouting "high power!"

Grasping both handles, he braces himself for a shock - which duly arrives. With the chair seemingly sending 2,000 volts of electricity surging through Eddie's body, his face turns bright red, veins in his neck start to throb and his body shakes.
