Video: Man downs entire bottle of Jack Daniels in 13 seconds in deadly stunt

A drinker has gone viral on YouTube after posting a video of himself downing a full 70cl bottle of 40% proof whiskey in just 13 seconds. Will Williams from Caernarfon, North Wales, posted the video on his own page after the reckless stunt was filmed by a group of friends.

The video, which has over 400,000 views, shows Mr Williams biting the seal off the bottle before inserting a straw to ensure the liquor travels quickly. As he downs the whiskey his friends can be heard laughing in the background, with one calling him an 'animal.'

After completing the stunt he jokes "Neknominate that", in reference to the controversial online drinking game. The 27-year-old, who filmed the stunt at a motorway services near Chester en route to Newcastle, attracted a mixed reaction when the video was posted.

Some viewers described Mr Williams as "hot" and "gorgeous" with one telling him he deserved "big respect". One female fan even said they'd like to marry him. Others expressed disbelief at the potentially fatal stunt.

Anna Brandberg wrote: "What the video fails to show is that unless he threw it all up within 10-15 min, that is a lethal dose of alcohol and he would almost certainly land in the hospital with his stomach pumped.

"This is just idiotic. I can't believe people are applauding this and thus putting more lives at risk as other naive people might think it seems funny and want to try it for themselves."

A 70cl bottle of Jack Daniels contains 28 units of alcohol. The NHS recommends men should not regularly drink more than 3-4 units of alcohol a day.
