A few hours ago , Rwandans celebrated their annual July 4 Liberation Day celebrations at Amahoro national stadium. The concert which started at 4:00pm was headlined by Africa’s biggest act Davido. The 21 year old hit man performed to a filled up stadium and regaled them with his recent hits. When it was time for his back to back hits ‘Skelewu’ and ‘Aye’, the crowd went ballistic with dance moves and a sing along.
After the show, an excited Davido tweeted: Baddest show ever!!!
Rwandan fans also went on Twitter to share their love for Davido
The fully booked star was in Nigeria for a few hours after his return from Los Angeles before leaving for Kigali.
“Celebrating 20 Years of Liberation in Rwanda on July 4. Muraho Rwanda! See you at the concert!” The 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards artist of the year posted on his official Twitter account last week.
Also performing at the concert was Ugandan song bird Cinderella Sanyu, better known by her stage name as Cindy. We will bring you the full image s and video soon. Keep refreshing!
