Millions of Germans took to the streets last night in wild celebrations after their team won the World Cup following a dramatic last-gasp winner from their young star Mario Götze. The jubilant players celebrated in style with their wives and girlfriends.







Pictured right midfielder Sami Khedira celebrates with his girlfriend Lena Gercke holding the World Cup trophy, while hero goal-scorer Götze celebrated with a kiss from his lingerie model girlfriend and then partied with Rihanna.









 Back in Germany, ecstatic crowds sang and danced throughout the night while tears flowed in Argentina after their stars - led by talisman Lionel Messi - failed to deliver. 'We're going to celebrate for at least five weeks now,' said Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. 'At some point we'll stop celebrating but we'll always keep waking up with a smile.
