Saraki: Four other APC governors have been penciled down for impeachment by the Federal Government

Following the impeachment of Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki has alleged that four other APC governors have been penciled down for impeachment by the Federal Government.

Saraki who condemned Nyakos impeachment by the State House of Assembly said the incident was quite unfortunate.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja, he said, “It is very unfortunate and I think we are seven months to the end of the tenure. We all need to look at the bigger picture, look at the stability of our democracy.
“After Adamawa, I think Nasarawa state governor is being served with impeachment notice and three other states are going to be served,” Saraki said.

According to Daily Trust report, the senator said the issue of impeachment should not be the countrys priority at this time as there are bigger issues like insecurity, poverty and others.
