Angelina Jolie has now been confirmed to be directing and co-starring with Brad Pitt in a new love story, after months of speculation.
The 39-year-old has scripted the project titled By The Sea and is set to direct her fiance nearly ten years after their last film project Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005.
The onscreen reunion is reported to be shooting on location in Malta, which is located in the Mediterranean Sea just 50 miles South of Sicily.
They will both co-produce the novie.
The couple haven't acted together since the 2005 assassin comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which grossed $478 million at the box office.
On June 7, the Oscar-winning lovebirds scouted the colourful European country of Malta, which is located in the Mediterranean Sea just 50 miles South of Sicily. The nation's Prime Minister Joseph Muscat confirmed that he is 'delighted to host' the Hollywood couple and their six children for the second time.
Pitt, 50, had previously shot scenes in Malta for his mega-hit World War Z last year.
Next week, the 'Brangelina' brood will celebrate the 6th birthday of twins Knox & Vivienne.
