Luis Suarez lookalike wanted after man's ear bitten off in vicious late night assault




A Luis Suarez lookalike is being hunted after bit a man's ear was BITTEN off during a vicious late-night assault.
Officers said the yob climbed on top of his victim after assaulting him before biting off part of his left ear.
The victim was able to find his detached ear lobe nearby and took it to hospital where it was re-attached.

Police have now released a CCTV image of man (above) who bears a striking resemblance to the controversial Uruguay international footballer, Suarez.

The attack happened at around 3am in Manchester city centre on Saturday, 29 March. The 21-year-old victim and his girlfriend were walking along Portland Street when a group of four men walked up to them.

Police said one of the men barged into the victim and started an argument, which soon resulted in the two men fighting, causing the victim to bang his head on a nearby phone box.

As they fell to the floor, the attacker got on top of the victim and bit off part of his left ear, before jumping to his feet and running off.

The victim was left to find his missing ear lobe and take it to hospital for reattachment.
