A horrific and fatal accident occurred along the Enugu Onitsha Old Road last Saturday, 07th June, 2014. It was due to the recklessness of a motorcycle rider who could not be identified as at the time of this report. The Okada rider came out suddenly from a side road unto the main road without checking for on coming vehicles. Unfortunately, a truck was coming and it crushed both the man and his bike.
The incident which occurred at about 9.20 in the morning happened directly in front of the Federal Road Safety Corps Training Academy along the road. The corps marshals and students arrived immediately on the scene to pick up the pieces (of the corpse).
