Man killed after bullet proof charm given to him by native doctor failed to work




A man is dead after a bullet protecting charm given to him by a native doctor failed to work, police has said.

Rasheed Sulaiman was shot dead after he instructed his friend to shoot him in order to prove that his charm will protect him.

Sulaiman was shot on Saturday, when he took his cousin Siji, to a secluded area to test the charm. At the time of the shooting, Sulaiman was wearing the amulet and gave his cousin the gun with which he was shot.

The cousin shot Sulaiman who he died instantly. Residents of the area who heard the gunshot, arrived at the scene and found the man dead.

Siji was seen crying beside the dead body of his cousin. Siji told investigators at the scene that his cousin ordered him to shoot to prove the power of the amulet.

The Osun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the incident, but so far, no arrests have been made.
