Kate Hudson has spoken out about her family life, which she has suggested is 'unconventional'.
The gorgeous 35-year-old actress visited the hosts of The View and opened up about her unique family life.
Speaking to hosts Jenny McCarthy and Whoopi Goldberg she said: 'I have two kids. I wouldn't say I'm conventional, but what is conventional these days? I've got two children from two different fathers, so that's unconventional.'
Whoopi jumped in: 'Not in my neighbourhood!' to which Kate concurred: 'Or where I grew up either.
'I'm a strict parent; I'm strict when it comes to manners. I think kids get too much too fast. Ryder wants a cell phone... He can get a pager, when he's 12.'
Kate was joined on the talk show set by actor Jason Biggs who asked about her relationship with fiancé Matt Belamy, who she got engaged to in 2011. After stating that they've been together for three years, Kate corrected the American Pie star: 'We've been together four-and-a-half.'
Jason, who starred alongside Kate in 2008 rom-com My Best Friend's Girl addressed the Twitter backlash he received about an ill-timed joke regarding the Malaysia airlines disaster.
Apologising, the 36-year-old said his tweet was an act of stupidity rather than malice.
After the interview the blonde beauty switched her ensemble to a chic black and white halterneck jumpsuit with patent peeptoe platforms, perfect attire for her late night appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
The Bride Wards star can currently be seen in former Scrubs star Braff’s new film, Wish I Was Here, which he part-funded with $5 million raised through crowd-sourcing website Kickstarter following an earnest appeal to fans in 2013.
In the family drama she plays Sarah, the wife of Aidan Bloom, played by Braff, who is a 35-year-old man finding himself at major crossroads in his life, trying to balance career and family.
Despite being in great shape, Kate revealed she is finding it harder to stay trim, saying: 'I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted when I was younger, and then as I got older I saw that if I ate whatever I wanted, I wasn’t very healthy.
My mom was very much into telling me that I have to eat healthy and that I’m eating too many cheeseburgers.'
The actress is a parent to two sons – Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson and Bingham with fiancé Matt.
Speaking to Expose Entertainment, she recently admitted that she cherishes every moment she has at home with her sons.
