Adele's infant son Angelo Adkins has been awarded a five-figure damage settlement from photo agency Corbis Images UK after paparazzi took photos of the child's "milestone moments." Adele's lawyer, Jenny Afia, stated on Wednesday that her Grammy-winning client accepts life in the public eye but won't let Angelo become "public property," The Associated Press reports.
"It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family's wishes," Afia said. The settlement stipulates that Corbis Images UK won't use the photos again; monetary damages will be held in a trust fund for Angelo, who will turn two this October.
